About Sunny Acres Donkey Farm

Life has many paths; I once had a dream of a horse farm and aged thirteen did my first business plan. As happens life had other plans for me, and I took a different path, family, and business. It has been a great adventure and I have loved it.

Twenty-one years later I decided to sell our business. I found myself re visiting what I wanted to do next. In 2007 I had visited Ireland and came across a donkey sanctuary and fell in love with a different equine.

Since selling our business I decided to follow my first love and we now have sunny acres farm with beautiful Mediterranean miniature donkeys. The business plan is to have a sustainable farm with gardens chickens and nature. Our farm is one hundred acres much of it is natural bushland. The donkeys don’t require a lot of land so much of it is left for the wallabies’ koala and bird life.
